Do passengers have to climb steps?
Yes, there are 6 – 8 ladders with handrails, to board the DUCK.
Do you have a place to store wheelchairs?
Yes, there is room for one or two wheelchairs (if manual) to be stored if necessary.
Are there restrooms on the DUCK?
No, we do not have restrooms.
How many passengers can the DUCK take?
The DUCK can accommodate 40 passengers per tour.
What is the age limit for children's rates?
Children rates are for ages 2-11. Under 2 are free but are counted towards passenger count.
Is there an age limit for the DUCK?
All ages we’ve had them all, and they all have a great time.
How long is the tour?
Approximately 2 – 5 hours long depending on tour.
Does the DUCK have air-conditioning?
No, the DUCK is a open air vehicle that allows the Hawaiian Trade Winds to breeze through the cabin.
Is the DUCK comfortable?
Yes, it is spacious and is has been retrofitted with modern seats.
Do passengers have to get out of the DUCK when it goes into the water?
No, DUCKS are amphibious. Passengers stay in, and when it splashes down they won’t get wet!
Will I get sick?
No, the DUCK is very stable so seasickness is usually not a problem.
Is any food available on the tour?
At the moment there are no tours available that provide food. There are however various options at the Visitor Center at Pearl Harbor, WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument, the Battleship Missouri, and the Pacific Aviation Museum.
Can we privately charter the DUCK for special events?
